Your Voice. Your Future.

đź’§What is Water Talk?

We want to hear ideas from 16-21 year olds in Mildura and Swan Hill to help us put a plan together on the future of water.

Have a say on how we manage your water to keep it clean to drink, shower and brush your teeth. And to make sure you have green sporting fields to play sport and a healthy river to swim and fish.

🗣️Why your voice matters?

Young people are our customers of the future and you can have a say in the cost of your water and wastewater.

Your opinions count. You’ll help us to plan your water needs for the future (& for your family, friends, etc), instead of just leaving it up to adults.

How will Water Talk help my future?

🌏Loads of ways – you’ll help protect the environment and make sure your water stays clean and available, so you can keep using the rivers and parks for sport and not stress about water bills.  You can also help us to reduce water shortages, which can lead to tougher water restrictions in hot weather and droughts.

⏰ Time to act now!

  • Join some fun, behind- the scenes tours of our water treatment and wastewater plants.
  •  5 x 2hrs max, online chill chat sessions, usually mid-week at night, August – November 2026.
  • Just commit to all sessions as they’re small groups – not a crowd.
  • And get paid $300 to join in.
  • RSVP by 30 July 2026.
