Lower Murray Water (LMW) is a water corporation providing water services to urban and rural customers along the Murray River, from  Wemba-Wemba Land (Kerang) through to Latji Latji Land (South Australian border).  With just over 200 staff located in and around Mildura, Swan Hill, Kerang and Robinvale, we are responsible for servicing around 80,000 customers.

 

We have an exciting part time opportunity for a Revenue Officer to work 36hrs a week from one of our Mildura, Swan Hill or Kerang Offices. This role will offer the flexibility to adjust your work hours to suit your home and/or family life.

About the role:

As the Revenue Officer you will play an essential part in the effective and efficient delivery of important revenue functions to achieve important financial and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Processing LMW’s Quarterly Billing for Urban and Rural properties
  • Prepare and maintain LMW Sundry Debtors
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and analytical ability.
  • Assist in the preparation of property information statements
  • Process financial transactions in the billing system
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, consistency, and efficiency across the Customer team

About you:

You may have a background in financial services, legal assistance or customer services in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to interpret data and legislation.

Lower Murray Water (LMW) is a water corporation providing water services to urban and rural customers along the Murray River, from  Wemba-Wemba Land (Kerang) through to Latji Latji Land (South Australian border).  With just over 200 staff located in and around Mildura, Swan Hill, Kerang and Robinvale, we are responsible for servicing around 80,000 customers.

 

We are looking for a dependable and team orientated person to join our Water Treatment Team for 3 months, being supervised to help operate Mildura water treatment plant as an assistant to perform basic water treatment duties. Duties will include being supervised by the existing treatment plant team to perform lab tests, supervise maintenance activities, supervise chemical deliveries and basic water treatment functions. This role will be supervised by the existing team and will be primarily based at Mildura WTP.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Leading Hand Operations, this ‘hands on’ role will work within a team to safely operate Mildura’s main Water Treatment Plant on 7th street. Prior water industry experience isn’t essential but for the right candidate we are willing to teach this unique and amazing trade.

We are looking for a dependable and team orientated person to join our Civil Maintenance Team, providing onsite support and supervision to a small team responsible for the efficient planning and delivery of civil maintenance and construction to support our customers and region to prosper.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Team Leader Civil Maintenance, this role will work within a large multi skilled construction team and plan the safe construction and maintenance of civil assets across LMW’s irrigation, drainage, water and sewer systems. Prior water industry experience is preferred, civil maintenance and leadership experience is desirable to plan works for this highly skilled and efficient team.
