POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Lower Murray Water (LMW) is a water corporation providing water services to urban and rural customers along the Murray River, from Koondrook to the South Australian border.  With just over 200 staff located in and around Mildura, Swan Hill, Kerang and Robinvale, we are responsible for servicing around 80,000 customers.

We are looking for a dependable and team orientated person to join our Irrigation Service Delivery Team, supporting a small team responsible for the efficient delivery of irrigation water to rural customers to support our region to prosper.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Manager Irrigation Delivery & Metering, this role will rely on supportive leadership and people management skills, ensuring irrigation systems are operated and in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.

 

This position will form positive relationships with irrigation customers and other stakeholders, providing and understanding and responsiveness to customer’s needs, obtaining better service delivery insights and contributing to wider business outcomes.

 

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Good communication skills to provide clear leadership and support a positive team culture
  • Willingness to form part of an on-call team roster
  • Maintain and foster customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the team and broader LMW family
  • Always represent LMW professionally
  • Efficient and reliable operation of our irrigation supply systems to achieve agreed customer service levels

About you:

You are a self-motivated person, who is great at developing team and customer relationships through a positive outlook and have high emotional intelligence.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll provide a supportive team environment and a customer focus to achieve agreed customer service levels.

The following requirements are:

  • Current drivers’ licence
  • Experience in working with customers and being able to support positive outcomes in any unrelated field
  • Proven leadership skills or the leadership potential
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft suite and flexibility to learn other programs
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
