Energy Manager

Mildura

Lower Murray Water’s Asset and Planning team require the services of an Energy Manager. Reporting to, and working with, the Manager Strategic Asset Planning this role will manage the Corporation’s renewable energy target program (pledge), develop and manage the Energy Management Plan and the Corporation’s energy supply contracts.

What you’ll bring

As our Energy Manager, you will thrive in our friendly, collaborative culture. Working as a member of the Asset and Planning team, you will be a key contributor in pursuing and managing energy efficiency programs for the Corporation’s assets and monitor and analyse energy consumption and energy management. Your demonstrated knowledge and experience in operating the National Electricity Market will assist Lower Murray Water to meet targets within our renewable energy target program. You will drive Continuous Improvement, Change Management and Innovation by introducing the latest innovations and trends from the Energy sector.

CIVIL MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEE

Mildura

This position is within the Civil Maintenance team of Lower Murray Water’s Operations division and is primarily responsible for construction, maintenance and repair of irrigation, drainage, water and sewerage reticulation /distribution systems.

What you’ll bring

As a Civil Maintenance Employee, you will thrive in our friendly, collaborative culture. Reporting directly to the Coordinator Civil Maintenance, you will be able to assist the civil maintenance team with the construction, programmed and breakdown maintenance, repair and replacement of irrigation, drainage, water and sewer infrastructure including treatment plants to the required standards. You will be flexible with your availability and hours you are able to work as overtime and out of hours work may be required.

COMMERCIAL AND PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Mildura

This position is within Lower Murray Water’s Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (VMFRP) Team and plays a key role in performing commercial and procurement operations for the project. The primary responsibility involves establishing, working within and overseeing the project procurement framework and systems. The role includes frequent commercial and procurement support to the project management team to ensure that project objectives are achieved in all procurement activities.

The VMFRP Project is a planned $320m program of infrastructure works that enhance the environmental watering of high valued floodplains on the River Murray in Victoria.  The Project will be delivered in partnership between Lower Murray Water, Goulburn Murray Water, Mallee CMA, North Central CMA, Parks Victoria and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. The project covers nine separate sites which vary in scale and complexity and generally involve the construction of weirs, regulators, pump stations, levees and access tracks.
