Lower Murray Water have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, team-oriented, high performing leader who wants to make a real difference in the water industry.

As the Senior Manager Operations, you will mentor and support the Operations team across a diverse range of operational activities throughout water, sewer, irrigation and drainage services including:

  • water & wastewater treatment operations
  • mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • water quality and environmental services

Situated in the beautiful Mildura Swan Hill region in Victoria’s north west, the area is known for its excellent climate, vibrant community and economy, whilst on the banks of the Murray River.

What you’ll bring

As our Senior Manager Operations you will provide leadership and business insight to the Operations team, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient production of water and treatment of wastewater. The role will involve developing positive relationships with a variety of people and teams, across a broad range of operational activities varying in complexity both onsite and in the office.

REVENUE OFFICER

Swan Hill/Kerang

Lower Murray Water have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated self-starter who wants to develop a career in the water industry.

As a Revenue Officer for Lower Murray Water, you will provide financial and administrative support to the Revenue team and Swan Hill / Kerang offices by performing a broad range of duties including:

  • Providing a high level of customer service;
  • Processing of revenue financial transactions;
  • Maintenance of the property and customer databases; and
  • Collection of outstanding accounts;

You will be working from our Swan Hill / Kerang Offices in Victoria’s north west, an area known for it’s excellent climate, vibrant community and economy, whilst on the banks of the Murray River.

What you’ll bring

As one of our Revenue Officers you will provide financial and business support to the Revenue team ensuring efficient operations of revenue functions.  The role will involve providing support to other teams in the Swan Hill / Kerang offices where you’ll be required to build positive relationships with a variety of people and across broad teams.

We are looking for applicants with strong financial experience and business acumen, however are open to applicants looking to change their career who can demonstrate attention to detail and analytical ability.  Experience within the water industry is not a pre-requisite of this position.

CORPORATE SECRETARY

Mildura

Are you an experienced Corporate Secretary looking for a role that offers flexibility in a dynamic and rewarding environment?

Reporting to and working closely with, the Managing Director and Board Chair, the Corporate Secretary is responsible for Board and Committee secretarial functions, managing all related communications and processes. This role is part time (20 hours per week) and flexible.

What you’ll bring

You are a smart, experienced and savvy professional who enjoys working as part of a team. You will have energy and enthusiasm when coordinating, organising and attending meetings of the Board and Committees. When providing advice to the Board, Directors and senior management, your experience and judgement will ensure you build trust and assist to ensure ongoing compliance. You will thrive in an environment that is collaborative and encourages continuous improvement while acting autonomously.

Primarily located in Mildura, components of this role can be completed remotely for the right candidate.
