Manager Land Development

Mildura/ Swan Hill

This new and exciting role within Lower Murray Water’s (LMW) Infrastructure Services Department will be responsible for managing functions in the Land Development and Property Services department. This includes both Urban and Rural Property Services, sub-divisions and land development activities across LMW. Motivating and building skills within the team to support them to achieve the department goals and strategy.

Manager Projects

Mildura

We have an opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis (5-year contract). You will be working from our head office in Mildura, Victoria.

Reporting to the General Manager Infrastructure Services your main responsibilities will be to manage a team of people, contractors and the delivery of LMW’s capital works program, including urban water and wastewater, and rural irrigation and drainage infrastructure.

What you’ll bring

As our Manager Projects, you will thrive in our friendly and collaborative culture. To be considered for this position you will have a qualification in Engineering, Project Management or Program Management, or have significant experience in a similar role. Ideally, you will have experience and a detailed knowledge of water services, though any experience with civil, electrical or mechanical assets will be highly regarded.

We need someone with a high-level of both written and oral communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively. You will have demonstrated experience in building and managing teams, and the strong interpersonal skills necessary to proactively resolve conflicts and manage difficult conversations.

Treatment and Maintenance Operator

Robinvale

This is a career opportunity for you to be developed as part of a team and formally trained in the Certificate III in Water Operations and relevant civil maintenance training and licenses. No direct water industry experience necessary.

Do you consider yourself an enthusiastic team player, someone with mechanical aptitude with the willingness to learn and motivated to establish a career in the water industry?

This position will be “hands on”, part of a team responsible for the operations and maintenance of LMW’s water, sewer, irrigation and drainage infrastructure including treatment plants within the Robinvale region.

As our Treatment and Maintenance Employee, you will thrive in our friendly, collaborative culture, have a genuine interest in working in a community and customer focused organisation and take pride in your work.  You will reside in Robinvale or surrounding area and be required to join an on-call roster after an initial period of training.
