Treatment & Maintenance Operator – Kerang
At Lower Murray Water, our operations teams play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable water and wastewater services to communities across north-west Victoria. We're seeking a motivated and safety-focused Treatment & Maintenance Operator to join our Kerang Operations team and help maintain the infrastructure that supports our customers every day.

About the role:
As a Treatment & Maintenance Operator, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of Lower Murray Water’s treatment plants, reticulation networks and associated assets. Working across Kerang, Koondrook and Murrabit, you’ll be part of a collaborative and experienced team delivering essential water and wastewater services to our communities.
This role offers a diverse range of operational and maintenance activities, along with opportunities to develop industry-recognised qualifications and technical skills.
No prior water industry experience is required. Comprehensive on-the-job training and support will be provided, including opportunities to undertake industry-recognised qualifications.
What You Will Be Doing
- Operate, maintain and repair water, wastewater, irrigation and drainage assets.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing and maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Undertake water sampling, testing and environmental monitoring.
- Maintain accurate operational records.
- Participate in on-call and after-hours works as required. ontribution to a positive team culture
About You:

- Experience in plant operations, maintenance, construction, utilities, agriculture or a similar field.
