Lower Murray Water wishes to inform our Robinvale irrigation customers about a required power outage that will only affect the Robinvale Pumping Station, with a focus on the importance of carrying out necessary works before the peak demand on farms.

Scheduled Maintenance Details:

Date: Monday, 30 October 2023
Time: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Duration: 9 hours
Location: Robinvale Pumping Station

The purpose of this scheduled power outage is to allow specialist contractors to conduct testing and calibration of the High Voltage Metering Installations at the Robinvale Pumping Station. We would like to emphasise that this work is not only essential for the smooth operation of our systems but also a regulatory requirement to maintain compliance with the National Energy Regulator.

We recognise the significance of ensuring that these works are completed before the peak demand on farms. We are taking a proactive approach to complete this maintenance now, with only a small window of opportunity to access the contractors prior to summer, rather than waiting for a less favourable time.

The current long-term weather forecasts predict mild conditions, with no hot weather expected around the maintenance period. Completing the work in these favourable conditions will help minimise potential disruption to farm operations.

If this outage affects you, please ensure that you manage your moisture profiles in the lead up to the outage.
