About the role
As the Senior Manager Planning & Service Delivery you will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive operational performance, strengthen planning processes, and oversee compliant procurement of operational goods and services. An in‑field presence in the Swan Hill & Kerang districts is required.
This role also plays a key part in developing operational plans, reporting, budgets, and long‑term asset management while contributing specialist technical advice to support organisational strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and develop teams, promoting safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Integrate risk management and support strategies aligned to key organisational plans.
- Support culture initiatives that promote ‘one LMW’.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Provide constructive feedback and support workforce capability.
- Champion safety and align work with the LMW Safety Management System.
- Manage operational risks and contribute to improvements.
- Maintain a workplace free from bullying, harassment and discrimination.
- Integrate environmental risk management under the EPA Act 2017.
- Provide oversight of operational plans, service‑level data and reporting.
- Lead systems development, budget processes and efficiency initiatives.
- Oversee procurement compliance.
- Maintain long‑term capital works and asset renewal plans.
- Provide strategic input into capital design, upgrades and asset management.
- Manage annual financial and budget requirements.
About you
We require a self-motivated and experienced people leader who has an eye for detail, a focus on continual improvement and is safety conscious and looking to work in a fast-paced team environment. To be successful in this role, you would ideally have some of the following:
- Qualifications in Engineering or Management, or relevant experience.
- Experience across water/wastewater treatment or equivalent.
- Experience leading diverse operational teams.
- Strong leadership, coaching and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience in safety systems and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to meet performance targets.
- Strong asset management and financial management capability.
