Lower Murray Water must adhere to the following legislation:

• Financial Management (Amendment) Act 1994 for all non-construction procurement of goods and services, and
• Project Development and Construction Management Act 1994 and supporting Ministerial Directions for Public Construction Procurement in Victoria for all construction related works.

Apply for a tender

Our tenders and expressions of interest (EOIs) are advertised on the Buying for Victoria website. This is a free platform that provides fair and equitable opportunities to lodge a tender with us. Registration is free and easy.

Details about our tenders, closing dates and times and how to submit a tender are included in the tender documents.

We do not consider or accept lodgements submitted after the closing date or sent directly to us. Tenders can only be lodged through Buying for Victoria.

Contractors

We’re committed to providing and maintaining a working environment that is safe and without risk to health for contractors, staff, customers and visitors, so far as is reasonably practicable.

In recognising this, we aim to work with our contractors and assist them where we can. This includes providing the all the required forms and documentation for the works they are performing.

If you wish to register as an approved contractor with LMW, complete the online form or call us.

All contractors and subcontractors are formally inducted and registered into our systems before works can commence. For more information, visit Worksafe Victoria.
