During January and February 2024, Lower Murray Water will be undertaking water main replacement works along the southern side of Wellington Street, between Nolan and Victoria Streets. New property connections will be installed and tapped to the new main and property connections will also be renewed to properties along the northern side of Wellington Street.

These works are necessary to ensure all Lower Murray Water infrastructure, located under the planned Gannawarra Shire streetscape works, is renewed prior to its construction. Works commence on Monday 29 January and are expected to be completed in under 4 weeks.

To facilitate this necessary work, there will be the need for some parking lane closures in the immediate works area. However, please rest assured that access to businesses and residences in the affected areas will be maintained. Planned interruptions to your water supply will be necessary to allow new connections to the water main. Lower Murray Water will ensure that all affected businesses are notified in advance of the disruption to service.
