About the role

Lead the sustainable operation of Mildura Reuse Farm. Manage land and livestock, ensure EPA compliance, and drive best practices in water reuse and pasture care. Collaborate with teams and leaseholders to deliver efficient, environmentally positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the reclaimed water reuse program, including irrigation across all sites in accordance with EPA Regulations.
  • Implement and manage customer site management plans and Health and Environment Management Plans.
  • Leading reuse farm activities including sheep husbandry, pasture management and maintenance of farm equipment, while ensuring sustainable application of reclaimed water.
  • Developing and managing budgets for farm activities and contributing to financial planning process to support sustainable and cost-effective operations.
  • Overseeing farm management through third-party agreements.

About you

We’re looking for someone who has the following or the enthusiasm to learn:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in agriculture, especially sheep husbandry, pasture care, and farm equipment operation.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of Health and Environmental Management Plans, Farm Management Plans and application of biosolids.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills in a practical, collaborative work environment
  • Ability to contribute to budgeting, cost control, and manage farm agreements
  • Great communication skills and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Computer skills, good record-keeping, and a commitment to safe work practices.
