Lower Murray Water (LMW) is a large regional organisation servicing diverse communities across the region, stretching from Kerang to the South Australian border. A unique organisation, LMW operates both urban and rural water businesses which support domestic and commercial customers from households through to large-scale irrigation operations. As a leader within the region, LMW has established itself as a major contributor to enhancing regional prosperity, directly impacting social, environmental, and economic benefits. 

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Manager Strategy and Communication you will be responsible for leading community engagement programs and events. Your role will be pivotal in promoting our organisation and advocating for the efficient use of urban and rural water.

Use your skills and expertise to engage with the broader community, our customers and stakeholders and make an impact every day.

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • A high standard of written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communications capability
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • An understanding of public sector communications, or the capacity to learn quickly
  • Ability to create and disseminate information on social media.

This role is a full-time limited tenure position based at the LMW Mildura office, working Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.
