Paul was CEO and Managing Director of Select Harvests from July 2012 to March 2023. He built a strong safety culture and transformed the company into one of the world’s leading fully integrated almond agribusinesses. Under his leadership, planted almond area grew from 3,536 ha to 9,262 ha, supported by sale-and-leaseback transactions that funded more than 3,000 ha of greenfield orchards and the acquisition of nine established orchards. Market capitalisation rose from $70 million to more than $500 million.

Paul’s career spans FMCG, industrial B2B and agribusiness, with deep expertise in corporate governance, capital markets and international commodity trading. He has served on the boards of the Almond Board of Australia, the Australian Food and Grocery Council and the Australian Industry Group.

Paul is a Director of the AustOn Group, one of Australia’s leading fresh produce and horticulture businesses with operations across Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales. He chairs the Group Health, Safety and Environmental Committee. He is a Board Member of Agribusiness Australia and runs an independent advisory practice.

Paul is a member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee and the Stakeholder, Technology, Environment and People Committee.
