Fixed Service Availability Charges
Fixed service availability charges apply for water supply and sewerage services and are set for an annual period. They are billed and payable on a three-monthly basis as follows:
1 July 2020 to 30 September 2020
1 October 2020 to 31 December 2020
1 January 2021 to 31 March 2021
1 April 2021 to 30 June 2021
The Tariffs (Prices) relate to each of the three monthly charge periods and consist of:

Fixed Service Availability Charge is based on meter size and applies to ALL serviced properties in our service districts.

Fire Services Charges
These are $186.56 per annum (or $46.64 per billing period) per service.
Sewerage Charge
A Base Charge of $491.84 per annum (or $122.96 per billing period) for all sewered properties. The Base Charge will form the respective basis of the calculation of the Fixed Service Availability Charge. Specific formulas relative to property classification and the potential load are used. Water Consumption Charges
The charges for Water Supply are based on the amount used. These apply for the period from, the last meter reading prior to 1 July 2020 until the next meter reading before 1 July 2021.
Your Home – Residential Pricing
A three-tiered water tariff system is in place for your home, so if you choose to use more water on your lawns, gardens or in your home you will automatically receive a higher bill for the additional water that is used. This is the user pays system at work.
Higher consumptions during the hotter months of the year may mean residential customers now start to fall within a higher step of charging. Your Business – Non-Residential Pricing
Single Rate of 82.35 cents per kL in all quarters.
When Your Home and Business (Urban) Bills are Sent
Bills are issued quarterly in July, October, January and April for:
- Water and Sewerage fixed service charges,
- Water by Measure (consumption) charges.
