Sponsorship & donations

We have a community sponsorship and donations program. We strive to be involved in community events as much as possible. Sponsorship, donations and in-kind support is one way we can be involved or provide support

Due to our commitment to the environmental aims of lowering waste and carbon emissions, we no longer provide bottled water as a sponsorship option for events.

In addition to our environmental aims, we support the Choose Tap program which promotes the consumption of tap water over bottled water as the best choice for people’s health, their hip pocket and the environment.

For those interested in utilising our marquee – please note the marquee will no longer be available as of 1st July 2018.

Lodgement dates for applications are:

1st January – 31st March 2018 8th December 2017
1st April – 30th June 2018 8th March 2018
1st July – 30 September 2018 8th June 2018
1st October – 31st December 2018 8th September 2018

We can only support community events/organisations and not for profit organisations (including schools and sporting clubs). We cannot support activities or events that are for an individual’s personal gain or self-interest.

We receive large numbers of requests for support.  Each proposal is carefully considered ensuring the activity or event is in line with our vision. Meeting the Sponsorship & Donation Criteria does not guarantee approval.

An organisation can only apply once every twelve months.

Merchandise may be provided as sponsorship, including drink bottles, hats & pens, subject to availability.

Mobile Drinking Water Trailer – via Mildura Rural City Council (sponsored by Lower Murray Water)

Mildura Rural City Council, in conjunction with Lower Murray Water, have a mobile drinking water trailer which is available to be hired free of charge for events. (a bond is payable)

For further information about hiring the trailer please speak to the Recreation, Planning & Development Department at Mildura Rural City Council on 5018 8312.

Features include:
– Chiller unit
– Double sided access
– 4 bubblers and 3 taps on each side

Requirements include:
– Potable water supply (LMW town water)
– Power supply

Suitable towing vehicle with:
– round 7 pin light socket
– D shackle for safety chain
