Conservation
There are lots of things we can do to
save water. You can make a start with some simple steps that won’t
cost you a thing.
It has been a dry winter - without the levels of rainfall we needed
to replenish our water storages. It is now time to be even more
creative about how we make a little bit of water go a long way.
You don’t have to buy the latest water efficient clothes washer
or low flow showerhead, or be an expert plumber to make a difference.
There are many things we can do to save water without breaking the
bank. In fact, saving water can actually save you money.
It is easy to make a quick start to saving water. This guide gives
you ‘shoestring’ water saving steps both inside and
outside the home. We’ve tried hard to keep things down-to-earth
and very do-able. See how many steps you can put into action this
week.
