Tenants Responsibilities

Upon notification to LMW, occupiers may become liable for any Water by Measure incurred. Under Residential legislation, this occurs when a property is residential and separately metered. If you are moving into or out of a residential rental property, do not forget to contact your local office to arrange a water meter reading. If this is not done, then you may be charged for consumption used outside your tenancy.
