What can I do under Stage 3?

Lawns

No watering of lawns at anytime is permitted.

Gardens

Hand watering - between 8-10am and 6-8pm on your specified watering day (trigger nozzle only)

Manual dripper - between 8-10am and 6-8pm on your specified watering day.

Automatic dripper - between midnight - 4am on your specified watering day.

Vehicles

Bucket - filled directly from a tap and only to clean windows, lights and mirrors.

Commercial Car wash - can be used to wash your car at any time.

A hose is not permitted to wash your car

Hard Surfaces

Water must not be used to clean hard surfaces, unless required as a result of an accident, fire, health hazard, safety hazard or other emergency and only be means of a hose fitted with a trigger nozzle.

Fountains & Water features

A fountain or water feature must not operate unless it recirculates any water used.

A fountain or water feature must not be filled or topped up.

Swimming Pools & Spas

A new pool or spa must not be filled.

An existing pool or spa must not be topped up except by means of a bucket or watering can filled directly from a tap.

An alternate water supply may be used to fill a new swimming pool.
