Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 1982 allows the public the right to request information held by Lower Murray Water and to access documents about their personal affairs and the activities of the Corporation.  It also provides the right to request that incorrect or misleading information held by Lower Murray Water be amended or removed.  Requests under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 may be made in writing to foi@lmw.vic.gov.au.

From 1 July 2008, the application fee for making a freedom of information request in Victoria will be $22.70 in line with annual adjustments to fees and charges.

Access charges will remain the same and include:

- time spent searching for documents $20 per hour
- providing copies of documents 20c per page.
