Sponsorships

Lower Murray Water has an annual sponsorship program. When possible LMW likes to be involved in various community events, and sponsorship and in-kind support is one way LMW can be involved or provide support.

Sponsorship requests

Lower Murray Water receives large numbers of requests for sponsorship on a weekly basis.  Each proposal is carefully considered prior to responding, sponsorship requests are measured against our criteria. This criteria includes ensuring the activity or event is in line with our vision and values statement.

Lower Murray Water also has an annual budget to work within which has been dramatically downscaled with the current drought conditions, so not all proposals are approved even if they meet all criteria. All requests for sponsorship require a minimum of 2 weeks notice.

Sponsorship or donations within our region

All requests for sponsorship or donations must be relating to an event or activity within the Lower Murray Water Region.

Donations

Lower Murray Water has items available for donation to community groups, schools, public events and not for profit organsations.  These include drink bottles, hats, rulers and pens etc, however these are not always available depending on stock on hand and budget restraints. Lower Murray Water endeavours to help out as many organisations as possible during the year, so a limit must be placed on how many items one particular organisation can receive.

All requests for donations must be received in writing to the office with a minimum of 2 weeks notice prior to requiring the goods, Lower Murray Water will respond in writing within 2 weeks of the request being lodged.
