LMW is calling for agricultural developers to register their intent to expand or develop in the region from Monday 9th January 2017. The process will assist LMW to identify the area of most interest to the private sector and the land areas involved in this development. RoI submissions close on Friday 20th January, with additional information available via our website or by contacting the office. The SMP2 business case will be submitted in March for assessment by the Commonwealth Government as part of the National Water Infrastructure Development Fund - Capital Component. The Resource Manager for northern Victoria today announced the first 2016/17 seasonal determination, an updated outlook, and the first risk of spill assessments for the new water year.
The Murray system starts 2016/17 with a seasonal determination of one per cent of high-reliability water shares (HRWS) and the Goulburn system starts with eight per cent HRWS.
