Paying Your Account

 

When Payment is Due
 
Payments are required within 28 days. Each account will have a due date which is the final day the account must be paid by.
 
Payments in Advance or by Instalment
 
Quarterly Tariff Accounts can be paid in advance or by instalments. You will receive your quarterly tariff account telling you how much you are in debit or in credit. Please contact any Lower Murray Water Office for further information.
 
Accounts for Scheme Contributions
 
If your property is included in a Water or Sewerage Scheme you have the option of choosing to pay either in full, or by instalments. You will receive a letter explaining the options available to you and asking you to select how you wish to pay. For most schemes, payments by instalments are made every three months. If you need to arrange different instalment arrangements you can contact Lower Murray Water and make an appointment to see our Manager - Financial Services.

 

How to pay your Lower Murray Water account

Online
phone.gif By phone on (03) 8672 0582 where you will need to enter the 9 digit Reference Number which can be found on the remittance slip of your bill. (Standard call charges apply)
BPAY View®
To receive and view your Lower Murray Water quarterly bills online, go to your online banking account to register for BPAY View. Your biller code and BVRN reference number can be found next to the BPAY logo on your bill.

  BPAY®
To pay using BPAY contact your bank or financial institution. Your biller code and BPAY reference number can be found next to the BPAY logo on your bill.

Direct Debit
If you would like us to deduct payments directly from your bank account (cheque and savings accounts only), please complete and return the Direct Debit Application form to us. 
  POST billpay®
In person at any Australia Post Office. 
  Centrepay
You can use Centrepay to arrange regular deductions from your Centrelink payment, simply call any Lower Murray Water Office.
  Payment by Mail
Tear off the remittance advice on the bottom on your bill and mail with your cheque to:

PO Box 1438,
Mildura, Victoria 3502.
 
In Person
Present your invoice intact at any Lower Murray Water Office.
