Pricing Submission 2018 - 2023 (PS2018) - Now Submitted to ESC

We have now finalised our plan for the Essential Services Commission for our Pricing Submission which advises of service levels and prices for the 5 year period 2018 to 2023

As a part of the submission process we undertook engagement activities such as:

  • one on one stakeholder consultations
  • independent customer surveys
  • meeting with customer committees
  • establishing and using community panels to 'test' scenarios
  • informing customers about the process through social media
  • Focus Group Meetings
  • Community pop up kiosks

These activities ensured that we got customer and stakeholder input into our planning process and that we can provide services to the levels to which the community expect.

Focus Group 'Testing' of proposals (March/April 2017)

From the 16th of March we commenced with 10 focus group meetings to discuss a variety of service and pricing topics with community members and stakeholders. There was 6 sessions held in Mildura and a further 2 in Swan Hill. We also held a further 2 review sessions to test proposed services.

These discussion forums were held to seek rural and urban customer views and opinions on future scenarios. The feedback from these forums was collated by an independent facilitator and then provided to the LMW Board for their consideration as a part of the overall Pricing Submission process.

We thank all the attendees who provided great feedback and opinions on a range of service and pricing issues.
